Elephant Legs

1. Elephant Legs
Mandy Sellars, suffers from Proteus Syndrome, the malady assumed to have affected Joseph Merrick, more popularly known as the Elephant Man. However, Ms. Sellers' affliction seems to be contained only in her legs, which have grown to enormous proportions. She isn't planning to have her legs amputated anytime soon, but seems optimistic about the things she'll be able do when that eventually occurs. Snowboarding, para-gliding , and white water rafting.

Do You Really Have to Be in It To Win It?

2. Do You Really Have to Be in It To Win It?
Chris Ong, the smartest guy that ever worked at a newsstand, put his name on the claim form, and collected approximately $574,000 from a winning lottery ticket that actually belonged to a pair of his customers. To avoid prosecution, he fled Australia and returned to his native Indonesia, where presumably half a million dollars will go a long way.

Who Is Going To Clean Up This Mess?

3. Who Is Going To Clean Up This Mess?
Possibly the world's greatest Rube Goldberg device built from hundreds of items found around the house.

120MPH

4. 120MPH
I've never really understood how driving a car powered by electricity which is most likely produced in coal or oils burning power plants could be more environmentally friendly than just driving a traditional vehicle. Anyway, if I had a spare $108,000, I'd buy this car in a second.

Loose Screw

5. Drastic Actions
If you are planning a murder/suicide, then that is dramatic enough, you really don't need to cut your own head off with a chainsaw.

Walt Disney is a Liar and a Mass Murderer

1. Walt Disney is a Liar and a Mass Murderer
I knew about this already, but I feel it is worth spreading the word. Lemmings are not suicidal. They are just regular ratty animals that hang around and do ratty stuff. Walt Disney made the whole thing up. He also killed a lot of lemmings and other animals.

Goldberg

2. Goldberg
Another video of an awesome Rube Goldberg device. This one is designed to make a cup of hot dirty water.

Arcade Ambience

3. Arcade Ambience
Andy Hofle is providing a valuable service to those very few special people that want to remember what it was like to hang around in a video arcade in 1981, 1983 or 1986.

Giant Bug

4. Giant Bug
If you thought tiny, tiny thrips were disgusting, wait until you see this 200 foot long one living in the farmland of Germany.

Youtubers

5. Youtubers
This video is a little long for viewing on the internet, but it is worth watching. I think it is a brilliant examination of the desperate and lonely nature of video blogging.

Message in a Bottle

1. Message in a Bottle
Dennis Davis wrote a note, put it in a corked bottle and threw it in the ocean off the coast of Florida. Three years later it washed up on a beach in Spain. You can easily be the online equivalent of Dennis by throwing your messages out via Oceangram.

Up and Away

2. Up and Away
A Canadian RC plane enthusiast hooked up a crazy head-movement controlled camera rig to his airplane. When he turns his head left, the camera turns left. When he turns his head right, the camera turns right. To top it off he runs the signal to a set of virtual reality goggles in order to get the full experience of flight.

Permakittens

3. Permakittens
Tenderbutton has come up with a scheme for producing and marketing cats which never grow beyond kittenhood. If you think this is a far fetched concept, engineered pets that are completely hypo-allergenitic are already a reality.

'Mopeder Gerry Morelock: Dead

1. Mopeder Morelock: Dead
Gerry Morelock was riding his 1977 Moped when chopper builder, Billy Lane hit him head-on with a truck. Lane was passing in a no-pass zone at the time. All the articles I've read on the incident focus on Lane, with little regard for the innocent man that died. These irresponsible journalists also suggest Lane was drinking even though the results have not come back.

These crazy kids have been watching too much Japanese television.

Ginger Ale

3. Ginger Ale
I tried making my own ginger ale once and it tasted like a spicy, mud filled, dirty hole in the ground. Maybe I'll try this technique and it will come out better.

If giant pandas were native to Japan, they would definitely be the best animals ever. Being from China knocks them down a few places, but they're still pretty high up there.

Girl/Car

5. Girl/Car
I can't believe it took me 80 days to remember to mention friends and favorites, The Shifties.

World's Smallest Cat 1. World's Smallest Cat
Tiny midget kitten, Heed, is unfortunately owned by one of those lumps that thinks it is funny to quote Mike Meyers movies in "funny" voices. She is apparently also sponsored by Pepsi-co.

Australian researchers seem to be under the delusion that employers care about the emotional well-being of the people that work for them.

Benign Racism 3. Benign Racism
Another nice t-shirt from Glenn Jones at Threadless.

Everybody knows I love a Rube Goldberg machine.

1980-1989 5. 1980-1989
Not a "totally 80's" compilation. Just a collection of 18 good, copyright violating MP3s from the so called "Me Decade." Click the "free" button, wait 53 seconds, download, unpack, burn a CD, print, fold and glue the cover.

1. Pitagora Suicchi
Everyone loves Japanese television, right? I can't help but smile every time that little ball gets to the end and the jingle plays.

Not only is Gary Busey crazy, he also loves trains. He loves parallel universes too. I really don't know what to make of this. You be the judge. Turn your speakers down a little.

3. New Futurama Episodes
I liked Family Guy, I thought it was funny, and I bought the DVDs. Since it came back on TV, I haven't seen a single episode. Maybe I'll try harder this time. I was trying to find a picture of that dog that dies alone, but I didn't want to make J.D. cry.

Why does anyone care about the freaking bird flu when there are crazy unbelievable diseases like this floating around? And human beings are actually getting them.

5. Gigan
Somebody already purchased this drawing before I had a chance to buy it, but Nathan The Artist seems to be cranking out more art for the world to enjoy. I'd like to suggest more scenes of urban destruction as his work seems to fit well into the Giant Monster School of fine art.
